Thistle Newcastle is a traditional hotel that combines magnificent architecture and beauty of a 19th century listed building with the benefits and convenience of a modern hotel. The hotel offers 114 bedrooms including 10 Executive rooms. Our 7 meeting rooms offer natural daylight, air conditioning and up to 180 delegates. WIFI access is available throughout the hotel. The newly refurbished Rendez Vous Restaurant, Bar and Lounge offers a range of British and International cuisine cooked with locally sourced quality ingredients, served in a comfortable, relaxed and informal atmosphere. Alternatively you can dine from our extensive 24 hour room service menu. Guests can also enjoy full use of the nearby Body Zone fitness centre.

Thistle Newcastle offers 7 well-appointed meeting rooms all with natural daylight and air conditioning.

The newly refurbished Mozart Suite offers a classical setting for large banqueting events, and is able to accommodate upto 200 delegates. With excellent lighting and black-out facilities, it is ideal for conferences. This room can also be divided up into 3 smaller units: the Waltz, Vienna and Opera rooms.

The Strauss is a smaller room, for upto 20 delegates, and can be used as a syndicate room. It is linked by a connecting door to the Mozart Suite.

The County Suite has also just been refurbished, with its ornate ceiling and original stained glass windows. It provides a superb setting for conferences and meetings, private lunches or dinners.

The Grainger Suite offers a modern equipped room and a light airy atmosphere. In addition, there are 3 similar meeting rooms available for smaller groups, all offering modern surroundings and facilities.
